On 22–23 September, the POR H2 Final Event, entitled “Research and Innovation: Opportunities and Perspectives for the National Hydrogen Value Chain”, took place at the Auditorium Porta del Parco in Bagnoli, Naples, Italy. POR H2 (Piano Operativo di Ricerca sull’Idrogeno) was established through an agreement between ENEA and the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE). Developed in the framework of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the research programme was carried out by ENEA in collaboration with CNR and RSE, with the aim of supporting the energy transition through the development of hydrogen technologies. The programme recognised hydrogen as a key energy carrier for the decarbonisation of Italy’s energy system and economy. The final event presented the results achieved through the project and explored future perspectives for the hydrogen sector in Italy, with particular attention to the valorisation of research activities, collaboration between research organisations, universities and industrial partners, and the role of technology transfer in bringing research outcomes towards application. For the ANDREAH project, participation in the event represented an excellent opportunity to increase the project’s visibility within the Italian hydrogen ecosystem and to engage with relevant national stakeholders. The event also included dedicated opportunities for the dissemination of EU-funded projects, providing a valuable platform to present ANDREAH, its objectives and its contribution to the development of innovative hydrogen technologies in Europe. Participation in events such as POR H2 is an important part of ANDREAH’s communication and dissemination activities, helping to strengthen connections between European research and innovation projects and the national hydrogen community, while supporting knowledge exchange and the uptake of emerging technologies. A special thanks to our project partner RINA for representing ANDREAH at this important event and for contributing to the project’s visibility within the Italian hydrogen ecosystem.
