Within the ANDREAH project, we are developing structured catalysts designed for application in membrane reactors for ammonia cracking. Our partner CNR – ITAE plays a key role in this process. Their activities include: Preparation of the catalyst materials Coating onto 3D-printed structured supports Performing quality control on the catalyst coating to ensure performance and durability After successful validation, the coated catalytic structures are delivered to TU/e, where they are integrated into membrane reactors for further testing and optimization. This workflow exemplifies the collaborative effort within ANDREAH, combining advanced materials engineering, additive manufacturing, and reactor design to accelerate the deployment of sustainable hydrogen technologies.
